What band is this?

OK, so long time ago, when KoRn released Thoughtless and Here To Stay, around that time there was a rock band on K-Rock (Los Angeles & Orange county radio 106.7fm) and it sounds kind of like The Killers style, or Interpol, something similar. I just cant remember, i think it was something like "stones" or "stripes" or "vines" some name like that. anywho. i hope somone can help, i'll add more details once i remember
