Instead of letting these creepy guys come to you, why don't you go to the guys that you really like. Maybe, like you say, the good guys that you like are intimidated because they don't really know you. Stop letting these guys come to you, let the guys you like know that you are worthy of your time. You deserve someone that is nice, attractive and respects you and that is not creepy. It is a two-way street so don't just sit there and let them come to you, let the good ones know that they should talk to you.
