What can I do about this lie I told.?

I trimmed my granddaughter bangs about 1/4 of a inch.She has really curly hair,My daughter was washing her daughter hair and got really mad and said did you cut her hair ,I wanted to remain peaceful, thought that it was no big deal,She got on facebook and, well call me a liar,I want to make everything good again,but just don't know how.can you help me.
