What does 'undermining your intelligence' mean?

No one has got it yet. Someone undermines your intelligence when they behave as though they don't expect your thoughts about an issue to be worth taking notice of. It basically means they don't think that you know enough about a topic and/or have the insight to use and imilate the knowledge which is available to you in any sufficiently meaningful way to be bothered caring what you think.So on one level they may think you have an adequate brain, but are ignorant about a particular topic or they may just think you are a fool in general about most things. Tell them to stop undermining your intelligence and to have the courtesy to listen to what you have to say.

Having a family history of hair loss, I've looked into all the options for thinning hair. If you have thinning hair on the top or front of your head like you said before, your best bet for regrowing anything is Propecia. Rogaine seems to only have any real success for regrowing hair in the back of your head as in your brother's case. Rogaine does run the slight risk of losing your hair at first, but its nothing substantial. The active ingredient in Rogaine takes awhile before you begin to see regular full shafts of hair come in. So at first you would see your hair grow in thin and fuzzy but over time as long as you keep using it, it would grow back. But as I warned before the only real success seems to be for the back of your head around the crown. Propecia has a much stronger active ingredient which I've heard can lower your sperm count, but I haven't heard anything about permanent impotence. This is the only drug I've heard of where users report having regrown hair in the front or top of their head. The only problem with the drug is over a long period of time the active ingredient's effectiveness begins to wear off, and the hair you might have grown back will eventually fall out again. Unfortunately it seems the only permanent solution is hair transplantation, which is much more costly and hard to find a doctor who's good at it.

I don't know how everyones work is but anywhere I have ever worked they always make this HUGE extravagent deal out of donating to the United Way. My family and I moved into a house in March. The gr was beautiful and we were told it was called Texas Turf 10. It;s a very thick, lush lawn that needs to be cut short and looks like turf. OMG black baby loaches?

ive got three black khlui loaches 1 super fat one and two normal ones in a community tank with 4 corys, 2 bumble bee catfish, bunch of tiger barbs, and tetra. well i was stirring up the gravel in my tank (55gal) and as the tank was settling i noticed little loaches about 20-30 wiggling back to the gravel. there all brownish black there about half in inch long in real skinny. one even ran right into a tiger barbs face and the barb didn't eat it. my question is to see if anyone has info on how to care for the baby's. there to tiny to try in catch and i cant take out my other fish for i don't have another tank. do you think any of the baby's will make it to adult hood? can anyone show me a Video on the baby's? that way i can make sure there loaches and not some fish eating disease.

It sounds as if you know what you want, but I have a few suggestions. First, unless you already have or are getting the 8800GTX for under $100, get a 9800GTX+/GTS 250. They perform better and are pretty cheap. The 902 is over priced. Get the NZXT Tempest. Better airflow and it's cheaper. If you are using an LGA 775 CPU, then the 750i is a good chipset; I prefer the Asus P5N-D for my 750i mobo of choice. Your RAM won't work. First, you have DDR3 when 750i uses DDR2. Second, it is triple channel, while the 750i uses dual channel. Do not get a dual core! Get at least a Q8400 or a Q9550 is possible. Make sure that whatever case you use has plenty of airflow to keep that hot 8800GTX cool and your PSU has enough clean, stable power to feed that beast. Other than that, it looks fine. Oh, and and don't forget a 3rd party heatsink of you plan on overclocking.

Winter housebreaking for a hairless dog?

I live in NYC and recently got a chinese crested (hairless) dog. He shakes and gets cold when the weather dips at night...and it's May and we wears a coat. Here's the situation : I was scheduled to attend a job interview for a job that I didn't really want. I am a Junior and I should probably be in the top tenth in my cl, if not a little higher. I want to take the SAT's more than once before I apply to colleges and I was hoping to apply to some places early. So when would be the best times to take the SAT's, and be able to do well on them? From the dates you give me when would be the best time to start preparing? Also I am a straight A student but on the PSAT's I only scored a 1690 but that was without preaparing too much. I had 640 in math but my reading and writing were only 510 and 540 respectively. Is that bad, and how can I do better?

The Packers have enough defense to pressure Roethlisberger, but he's experienced that for the past few years and been successful. I'd I'd like to see the Packers win, but think the Steelers are more likely. This is likely to be another low scoring game. It wouldn't be a huge surprise either way it turns out - the only thing that would surprise me is if it turns out to be a blow out. You should be getting ~12v with the engine off and ~14v with it running. If the alt. is not functioning properly, battery voltage will drop as you drive. Low voltage means then engine cooling fan will turn slower and it may affect your gauges (such as your speedometer). Take the alternator out (not hard at all on your car) and take it to a auto parts store and they should be able to check it for you. If it's bad, then you're already there to pick up and new one and no core charge...

There is this guy I have known on and off for about 4 years, we met when I was 14 and he was 18, we had loads of mutual friends and he went to the school I went to. I am living with my BF's apartment with his mother for 2 months now. His mother cares too much for me and her son. For ex. from cooking, washing , cleaning and almost everything. She does everything everyday and I am also helping her in most of the time but she always says that I must not do this and do that. Is it unsafe to be taking Russian Bear supplements, R. B. Weight Gainer 5000, and Force Factor Pre Workout?

For the last week and a half I've been taking the Russian Bear supplements totaling eight pills a day, the Russian Bear Weight Gainer 5000 protein shake for the 5000 calorie intake and I just took my first two Force Factor Nitric Oxide supplement at 11:00am. I'm curious to know if the Force Factor and the Russian Bear Weight Gainer will do something bad I guess you could say. There's 7,135 mg of L-Arginine in the Russian Bear Weight Gainer, and it says not to exceed recommended daily intake of 5 scoops of the drink. The Force Factor Pre Workout pills say that theres 3,000 mg of Arginine-Alphaketoglutarate and Arginine-Ketoisocaproate and L-Arginine Monohydrate. Im not sure if this is safe to be intaking so much Arginine from both the weight gainer and these nitric oxide pills. Is it safe to be taking in this much? Im 21, and have an extremely fast metabolism so gaining weight is almost impossible. I even try D-bol from SDI-Labs to get better results, which is basically an anabolic roid and it did nothing so I quit that after I ran out of the bottle and I couldnt take the mental thought of taking something like that to get fake and undeserved muscle even though it didnt work anyways. So my questions are, is there such thing as overdoing L-arginine, even though it appears theirs different strains if thats what you'd call it. Is there such thing as overdosing on vitamins such as the 460 mg of magnesium, 1,150 mg of calcium in the weight gainer in one days serving on top of the calcium phosphate, magnesium stearate which shows them all bundled together as 200 mg in the Force Factor Nitric Oxide supplement and the 1,000 mg of Calcium (as amino acid chelate, citrate), the 500 mg of Magnesium ( as amino acid chelate, aspartate) in the Russian Bear pill supplement. The russian bear says its ok to mix the weight gainer with the supplements but im just not sure if mixing the force factor on top of that is too much calcium, magnesium, and other vitamins . I just dont want to over do it. Im doing whatever I can to gain weight and get really toned/cut. Ive never like or wanted to get huge undefined muscles since it just looks gross and I dont have anywhere close to a small so I dont need to compensate with huge muscles. Is it even possible to go from being skinny to being cut without bulking up first? If anyone has read this far and could answer these questions it would be greatly appreciated and thank you for your time and patience. I know exactly what you mean,im British but my Aunt and Uncle live in Toronto.I think its one of those word of mouth things,like we have a lot of expats in Spain.When i was out there,no one took a blind bit of notice about my english accent until i wrote my address down in guestbooks etc and then they were like 'oh your from England'. My uncle works in an office with mainly English people so even though he's been there nearly 30 years,he still sounds English. It's fairly common for baby children's to be a bit snappy, you're just a big predator to them. They'll grow out of it, just keep handling him regularly and he'll calm down. Not sure if you already do this, but when you're picking him up try not to come from above, go from the side of him and scoop him up, should help a bit. Once picked up they start to realise that they're not going to be eaten! I really doubt it has anything to do with you being pregnant/the rain. My spotted python is about a year old and he's as soppy as anything, so yours will be like that eventually.

I am doing a biology task in which I research the genetic inheritance of a family. The father has brown eyes and the mother blue. From what I understand since a male has a Y chromosome they cannot be a carrier of an allele and therefore can only have BB (brown eyes) alleles. The mother could be a carrier, but since she has blue eyes brown eyes are dominant to it so she wouldn't be able to be a carrier... so why do they have a blue eyed daughter? :s please help, this is also a real scenario.
